Ralph Matheus – Founder – Matheus International is headed by Ralph Matheus who has 37 years of experience in international finance, investment banking, corporate banking and development banking. Mr. Matheus worked for US International Development Finance Corporation (formerly known as OPIC) in multiples capacities over twenty-seven years, including VP of Finance which oversaw all of the corporation’s finance investment activities with a focus infrastructure and project activities, Chief Risk Officer overseeing a $20 billion portfolio, MD for Credit Policy which included Chairing its Credit Committee, MD in originating a wide of range of project finance, infrastructure and structured finance transactions, MD responsible for establishing and managing two separate monitoring functions responsible for infrastructure and finance investments, and as MD of DFC’s Workout Group. Mr. Matheus also established and headed DFC’s syndication and capital mobilizations platforms which focused on bringing US and European institutional investors into emerging markets transactions originated by OPIC/DFC.  Prior to OPIC/DFC Mr. Matheus worked in NYC Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank’s Investment Banking department, focusing on leveraged acquisition financing and Euromarket investments and in both NYC and Boston for Bank for Boston in middle market leveraged acquisitions. Mr. Matheus was CFO of an energy start-up focused on emerging markets and has been involved in other entrepreneurial activities.  Mr. Matheus is perfectly fluent in English, Spanish and French.  Mr. Matheus obtained an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA from American University in Washington DC. Mr. Matheus studied French at the Universite de Reims, in France. He is native of the Wash. DC. Metro area.

Carlos Montoya – Director  Commercial Operations – Civil engineer with 40 years of experience. Structured road and railway concession projects under the Public Private Partnerships scheme in Colombia, law 1508 of 2012, in alliance with private capital funds from Switzerland and trading from Belgium.

• Project developer with the official sector, National and Departmental Government of Colombia. Coordinator of the preparation of public tenders.
• Technical and financial management of road infrastructure projects, real estate and civil engineering projects.
• Coordinator of management personnel, designs and construction of civil works and social housing. Social housing legislation. Application of social housing subsidies granted by family compensation funds and the Colombian Government.
• Professional management plan. Projection of Civil Engineering, Geotechnical, Metalworking, Industrial Engineering companies, for incorporation into the modernization program of the Barrancabermeja refinery, Colombia.
• National Engineering Award, awarded by the Colombian Society of Engineers in 2004.

Matheus International LLC arranges transaction teams with seasoned officers on a deal-by-deal basis, including financial modeling. Notwithstanding the participation of a transaction team, Matheus International’s Founder and CEO manages all transactional and advisory work.
